About the Role
The role is responsible for planning, coordinating and developing a project‑specific Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Plan that aligns with contract documents, owner/architect requirements and Turner policies, and for overseeing its implementation throughout the project lifecycle. • Develop and implement a project‑specific QA/QC plan in coordination with the project team, owner/architect, and contract documents. • Assign qualified QA/QC staff and supervise Turner QA/QC personnel, including performance appraisals. • Maintain collaborative relationships with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure compliance. • Ensure strict adherence to ethics, compliance requirements, and applicable codes throughout the project. • Manage document control, RFIs, material submittals, change orders, and cost tracking within budget. • Integrate QA/QC activities with the project safety plan and schedule. • Conduct and oversee testing, inspections, and third‑party evaluations; analyze and report results. • Direct removal and replacement of non‑compliant materials or workmanship and verify corrective actions. • Apply additional QA/QC and Lean procedures to improve delivery quality. • Oversee project close‑out and preparation of quality reports.

What You Bring
Turner Construction is seeking a full‑time, 100 % travel QA/QC Manager for its Advanced Technology projects within the Critical Facilities‑Data Centers division. The position is based in Minneapolis, MN, and reports to the Project Manager or Project Executive. The position demands regular on‑site work in construction environments, requiring ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb, and exposure to mechanical hazards, weather, noise and potential electrical shock. Reasonable accommodations are provided for individuals with disabilities. • Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of five years of construction experience linking field and engineering duties (or equivalent). • Knowledge of construction processes, methods, materials, specifications and codes. • Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and familiarity with Turner’s project‑management software. • Excellent verbal and written communication and proven leadership/mentoring abilities. • QA/QC certification may be required depending on the specific project.
