About the Role
Operators are responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting a variety of machines and equipment to produce high-quality products. Equipment may include punch presses, straighteners, feed machines, press brakes, furnaces, cranes, forklifts, conveyors, cutting torches, blade folding stations, riveting tools, and other departmental machinery. Typical processes include inspecting, gauging, counting, heating, blanking, perforating, shearing, forming, sorting, assembling, painting, boxing, palletizing, bundling, banding, nutting, twisting, deburring, and stacking. These operations are performed across multiple workstations to meet production targets. Employees must provide their own hand tools and keep machines, equipment, and work areas clean and orderly. Regular maintenance ensures safety and operational efficiency.

What You Bring
Operators must be able to read and interpret drawings and routing sheets, and proficiently use calipers, gauges, measuring devices, and visual inspection techniques. They are also required to record production and scrap data, maintain SPC records, and perform other required inspections. • Ability to sit and/or stand and perform repetitive work for a minimum of eight hours. • Ability to walk, hear, see and have full use of both hands. • Ability to lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist and waist to floor. • Ability to handle 65 lbs. continuously for the duration of the shift. • Ability to work on a platform. • Ability to load 80 lbs. onto a die cart and then transport it. • Ability to push and/or pull 415 lbs. a distance of 2 feet. • Ability to lift and carry 100lb. cartons a distance of 3 feet and place on a pallet.
