About the Role
Project Controls Cost Analyst, Life Sciences, Project & Development Services will support all cost management activities of one or multiple complex projects. The role works with senior project managers and senior cost analysts to support high-level strategic cost plans from early phases through closeout. It collaborates with the project cost lead and project controls manager to develop long‑term support plans, build, manage, and report cost reports and analysis. The position requires exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Key responsibilities include developing and managing project cost reports, evaluating actual and forecasted costs against budgets, and providing detailed analysis on cost risk, issues, and mitigations to stakeholders. The analyst will develop project accruals and forecast reports on a monthly, bi‑weekly or weekly basis, support earned value analysis, and contribute to project control and execution plans. Additional duties involve reviewing and approving subcontractor invoices, assisting with RFPs, RFQs and contract negotiations, supporting project estimates, value‑engineering exercises, and creating cost‑management procedures for Cushman & Wakefield and clients. • Develop and manage project cost reports, evaluating actual vs. forecasted costs. • Provide detailed cost risk analysis, issues, and mitigation recommendations. • Create project accruals and forecast reports (monthly, bi‑weekly, weekly). • Support earned value analysis and project control/execution planning. • Review and approve subcontractor invoices; assist with RFP/RFQ processes. • Contribute to project estimates, value‑engineering exercises, and cost‑management procedures.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, project management or a related field, and have at least three years of cost‑management experience on capital projects covering design and construction phases. Experience in a complex matrixed environment and strong Excel expertise are required; construction industry experience is essential, while life‑sciences experience is strongly preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills are also needed. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or a related field. • Minimum 3 years cost‑management experience on capital design and construction projects. • Proficient in Excel; construction industry experience required, life‑sciences preferred. • Strong oral and written communication skills.
