About the Role
The Escrow Officer will prepare and manage all documents related to escrow processing, title conveyance, recording, and title insurance issuance, while also developing business through marketing and customer service techniques. • Communicate daily with the Branch or Escrow Manager to coordinate responsibilities. • Obtain demands/releases to clear title and draw signing instructions. • Audit files and ensure receipt of all funds and documents before closing. • Disburse funds and write escrow instructions approved by all parties. • Estimate closing costs and secure buyer and seller deposits. • Review title reports to verify vesting and legal descriptions. • Reconcile discrepancies between instructions and title reports. • Order beneficiary statements, fire insurance, loan interest, rent, and other prorated items. • Prepare settlement sheets and oversee their preparation. • Train, supervise, and assign work to office associates. • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary escrow information. • Follow escrow accounting procedures and comply with Good Funds Law. • Solicit new business through in‑person, virtual, or development activities. • Set up account servicing when applicable and quote accurate fees per rate manual.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold at least a high school diploma, have three or more years of escrow officer experience, possess a notary license, and maintain a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; supervisory experience is preferred. • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required. • At least three years of escrow officer experience required. • Notary license and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation are mandatory. • Supervisory experience is preferred.
