About the Role
• Participate in creating a safe working environment. • Produce subcontract documentation, including negotiation of terms, conditions, prices, and programme. • Manage subcontract work packages, conduct interim assessments and handle change management. • Issue all commercial notices to clients and subcontractors as required by the contract. • Manage contract changes promptly and submit Compensation Event Quotations. • Prepare, submit and agree monthly applications to the client in line with contract terms. • Liaise with operational and engineering staff to ensure required site records are maintained. • Generate detailed monthly reports and Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR) as needed. • Maintain a detailed cost plan, forecast expenditure, track subcontractor liabilities and utilise Oracle cost analysis. • Interpret and evaluate expenditure reports from internal cost systems. • Attend weekly progress and risk reduction meetings with clients and subcontractors. • Apply “Doing the right thing” principles to maximise value and profit and support estimating and bid teams with contractual expertise.

What You Bring
• Demonstrate good appreciation of standard forms of contract. • Possess strong IT skills, including Excel, Word and cost management systems (CEMAR, Oracle). • Exhibit strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities. • Have solid knowledge of construction processes. • Exhibit first‑class time and outcome management skills. • Hold a professional qualification such as MCIOB or MRICS (incorporated member preferred). • Hold a relevant degree and/or experience in a commercial environment. • Experience on large single or multiple smaller schemes. • Hold a CSCS card appropriate to the role.
