About the Role
The drilling equipment operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating drilling machinery to meet production goals. Candidates must be capable of operating and maintaining drilling equipment effectively and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance standards. The role requires physical stamina for outdoor work in demanding conditions, effective communication, teamwork, and a problem‑solving mindset to adapt to changing situations. All successful candidates must complete a post‑offer physical examination, drug and alcohol screening, and a background check. Some positions may also be subject to FMCSA‑regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. The position works primarily in environments with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels. Operators must be prepared to work in these challenging conditions daily. • Work in physically demanding, outdoor environments with inclement weather. • Communicate effectively and work well in a team. • Meet pre‑employment physical, drug/alcohol screening, background check, and possible FMCSA testing requirements.

Benefits
The role offers a base pay of $28.76 per hour with an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate. Employees receive union‑administered medical, dental, vision, and pension benefits, as well as paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays.
