About the Role

Key duties include assembling, wiring, fitting, and modifying complex and non‑standard assemblies such as Special Assembly, Power Companies, and Pull and Switch Sections. The technician completes ISO, quality, and customer checklists, mounts and installs electrical equipment, performs wire operations, lifts heavy copper parts, and maintains minimum Kanban inventory levels while reporting shortages. Additional responsibilities involve inspecting assemblies for loose hardware or cleanliness, responding to change notices and customer‑requested adjustments, assisting engineering and drafting with development work, and pulling drawings using ENOVIA. • Assemble, wire, and modify medium/high voltage assemblies and sub‑assemblies. • Fit and modify complex non‑standard assemblies such as Special Assembly, Power Companies, and Pull and Switch Sections. • Complete ISO, quality, and customer checklists and related documentation. • Mount and install electrical equipment; perform wire operations. • Lift and assemble heavy copper components; maintain Kanban inventory levels. • Inspect assemblies for missing hardware and cleanliness. • Respond to change notices and customer‑requested adjustments. • Support engineering and drafting with development work and retrieve drawings using ENOVIA. • Follow manufacturing instructions, electrical/mechanical drawings, and oral directives. • Work flexible hours and overtime as needed. • Utilize hand and power tools, step ladders, and cranes in a Lean environment.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship, and reside within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC (with an exemption for active‑duty military). Required experience includes at least one year in an SG37 assembly role, one year in industrial manufacturing, and one year using hand and air tools. The position demands strong verbal and written communication, persuasive and analytical problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Flexibility to work overtime and use various hand and power tools, step ladders, cranes, and standard computer programs such as Outlook/Teams and ENOVIA is essential. • Communicate effectively, solve problems analytically, and collaborate within a team.
