Job Highlights
About the Role
• Advise on procurement strategies and contract selection, and produce procurement reports. • Provide expert technical/functional advice using value management techniques at project outset. • Deliver estimating and cost planning activities, own and present the final cost plan. • Drive the procurement process, ensuring effective pre‑qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation. • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships. • Supervise preparation of contract documents, warranties, bonds and licenses for proper execution. • Measure project valuations, manage cost checking and valuation work efficiently. • Produce cost control and reporting services for stakeholder presentation. • Direct and manage costs related to design changes, contract awards, construction activities and client charges. • Implement continuous process improvements through best practices and lessons learned, driving transformational change. • Oversee evaluation of external claims for delay and additional costs. • Direct issuance of defect‑remediation certificates and final completion documentation in line with submission and approval requirements. • Manage certificates of practical completion and negotiate final accounts. • Lead a large team or multiple teams, fostering behaviours that achieve KPIs and a culture of continuous improvement. • Provide performance management, technical and career development coaching. • Collaborate toward net zero carbon transition and proactively manage associated emissions and reductions. • Perform Capex and Opex cost analysis and provide related advice.

What You Bring
Within our consult business, we harness our unique combination of leading‑edge practical expertise and project delivery consultancy to unlock the potential in every project. • Hold a degree in quantity surveying or cost management (or equivalent). • Possess professional membership such as MRICS/RICS (or equivalent) and be moving toward fellowship. • Demonstrate detailed knowledge of forms of contract. • Maintain sound knowledge of value engineering, life‑cycle costing, contract law and construction contractual frameworks. • Show proficient sector knowledge and expertise. • Hold technical qualification or certification for project portfolios (or equivalent). • Have expert knowledge and confidence to advise on contract administration and management.

The estimated salary for this position is $160,000‑$190,000 USD, with the starting salary varying based on permissible, non‑discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
