About the Role
The Cleaner will work under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor and perform a variety of custodial duties for C&W Services in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures. Typical duties include sweeping, mopping, and washing floors and other interior surfaces, using light and heavy commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines with attachments, vacuuming rugs, spot cleaning and shampooing rugs as directed, and dusting furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and other horizontal surfaces, including periodic high dusting. The role also involves washing windowsills, interior glass, and specified windows, cleaning interior walls, maintaining restroom cleanliness and restocking supplies, monitoring defects such as clogged urinals or lights, collecting and disposing of building trash, replacing liners, and sweeping or shoveling snow from steps and walkways as needed. Periodic work includes high dusting, leather and wood surface polishing, and wall washing, with any other duties assigned by supervisors. • Sweep, mop, and wash floors and interior surfaces using buffers and shampoo machines. • Vacuum rugs and perform spot cleaning and deep shampooing as directed. • Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, windowsills, interior glass, and high‑dust areas. • Maintain restroom cleanliness, restock supplies, and monitor for defects. • Collect and dispose of trash, replace liners, and manage snow removal on walkways. • Perform periodic tasks such as high dusting, leather/wood polishing, and wall washing. • Operate cleaning equipment, including backpack‑style vacuum cleaners.

No prior cleaning experience is required; the candidate must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and cooperate as part of a team. Compensation is competitive and varies based on location, hire date, hours worked, job type, and collective bargaining agreements, with a pay range of $13.60 to $16.00 per hour and a guarantee of at least minimum wage. • Earn $13.60‑$16.00 hourly with health, vision, dental, retirement, and other benefits.
