About the Role
In this role you will collaborate with engineers, hydraulic modelers, environmental scientists and technical specialists to deliver projects across the UK and overseas. You will produce feasibility studies, outline and detailed designs, reports and technical specifications while ensuring compliance with all standards and regulations. Additionally, you will supervise junior staff, providing guidance, management and performance evaluations. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on UK and overseas water infrastructure projects. • Produce feasibility studies, outline designs, detailed designs, reports and technical specifications. • Provide line‑manager supervision for junior staff, including guidance and performance evaluations. • Ensure designs meet all applicable standards, regulations and interdisciplinary quality requirements.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a civil engineering degree or equivalent experience, is chartered or working towards chartered status with ICE, CIWEM or a similar institution, and has senior‑level experience in the water sector. Required expertise includes engineering assessments, option appraisals, calculations, economic appraisals, and design of water or wastewater treatment, flood risk management or drainage schemes. • Hold a civil engineering degree or equivalent with senior‑level water sector experience. • Chartered or working towards chartered status with ICE, CIWEM or similar professional body. • Experience with engineering assessments, option appraisals, calculations and economic appraisals. • Background in design of water/wastewater treatment, flood risk management or drainage schemes.
