About the Role
Key responsibilities include early collaboration with consultants or customers to influence system design and RFP documentation, serving as an expert on solutions such as iBMS, FAPA, access control, and CCTV, and analyzing technical specifications, drawings, and schematics to optimize proposals. The incumbent will support the sales team throughout tender processes, provide market feedback to senior management, and foster senior‑level relationships with third‑party OEMs, including arranging training for internal teams and delivering technical presentations. • Collaborate early with consultants/customers to influence system design and RFPs in Johnson Controls' favor. • Provide expert guidance on iBMS, fire detection, access control, CCTV, and related solutions. • Analyze specifications, drawings, and schematics to optimize proposals and support bid success. • Offer technical input and feedback throughout tender processes to assist sales teams. • Gather market feedback and advise senior management on customer satisfaction improvements. • Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with third‑party OEMs, arranging training for internal teams. • Deliver technical presentations on control, fire, and security solutions to customers and consultants.

What You Bring
The Senior Manager – Solution Development at Johnson Controls acts as a subject matter expert who enables the sales organization to meet its yearly targets by improving hit rates in Building Management Systems, fire detection and suppression, and security and access control opportunities. The role requires proficiency with AutoCAD drawings, BIM, market intelligence, and the ability to engage with global products while maintaining OEM relationships and mapping key industry stakeholders. Candidates should hold a B.Tech/BE in Electrical/Electronics & Communication or a 3‑year diploma, with 10‑12 years of relevant experience, including 8‑10 years in design and development of CFS solutions. Hands‑on experience designing/optimizing ELV systems and strong proficiency in AutoCAD are preferred. • Hold a B.Tech/BE in Electrical/Electronics or a 3‑year diploma with 10‑12 years of relevant experience; 8‑10 years in CFS design preferred. • Possess hands‑on experience with ELV system design, AutoCAD proficiency, and BIM knowledge.
