About the Role

Job Summary: The driver safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on assigned transfer routes, ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company standards. • Operate vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and local regulations while maintaining a clean, safe truck. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report and document any issues. • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, or property damage promptly to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Participate in scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as directed by management. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address problem accounts. • Perform scheduled duties, assist other drivers, and follow dispatch instructions throughout the shift. • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Fully empty containers, leave sites free of debris, and position containers upright with lids secured, avoiding blockage of driveways. • Complete and submit customer tickets for excess yardage removal. • Follow route assignments, complete required documentation, and check‑in at the end of each route.
