About the Role
The engineer will design and develop refrigeration and air‑conditioning products, creating detailed drawings with comprehensive GD&T and performing complex tolerance analyses. Responsibilities include defining fabrication processes, material selections, and finish standards, as well as managing design changes throughout the product development cycle and maintaining product data in PLM systems. Key duties also involve producing technical documentation such as Bills of Materials and assembly drawings, collaborating with project, manufacturing, and quality teams to meet deadlines, and conducting feasibility studies and design analyses to ensure structural integrity and functionality. • Design refrigeration and air‑conditioning products with detailed GD&T drawings and tolerance analysis. • Define fabrication processes, select materials, and set finish standards. • Manage design changes throughout the product development cycle and maintain PLM data. • Create technical documentation, including Bills of Materials and assembly drawings. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet project deadlines and deliverables. • Conduct feasibility studies and design analyses to ensure structural integrity. • Lead NPD stage‑gate activities using DFMEA and DFA tools.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and have at least five years of HVACR industry experience. Required skills include advanced SolidWorks proficiency, deep knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack‑up analysis, and familiarity with PLM tools like Enovia or Teamcenter, as well as an understanding of vapor‑compression system design and related components. • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years HVACR experience. • Proficient in SolidWorks, GD&T, tolerance stack‑up analysis, and PLM systems (Enovia, Teamcenter). • Knowledge of vapor‑compression system design, heat exchangers, fans, and compressors. • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills for clear presentations.
