About the Role

The Regional Sr. Technical Manager is a critical role responsible for planning, designing, and implementing critical infrastructure in data‑center construction projects. This position leverages deep expertise in electrical, mechanical (cooling, power, UPS), and network systems, as well as security protocols and construction processes, to guide projects from conception through delivery. Working closely with onsite project managers, supervisors, and foremen, the manager coordinates technician workforce planning, resource allocation, and field‑operations oversight while providing technical direction to project teams across multiple sites. • Review scopes, designs, and drawings to ensure alignment with industry standards and project goals. • Conduct regular quality checks throughout construction to verify compliance with specifications. • Develop and recommend optimal installation techniques based on terrain, environmental conditions, and budget. • Participate in bid processes, evaluating proposals and recommending resources, equipment, and materials. • Coach and mentor project managers, technical managers, and data‑center technicians on best practices. • Lead workshops and presentations to share technical expertise and facilitate knowledge transfer. • Travel up to 30% to project sites for oversight, coordination, and close‑out activities.

What You Bring

Candidates must demonstrate extensive MEP systems expertise, the ability to review and challenge engineering designs, and 10–15 years of experience managing Tier 2‑4 data‑centers or mission‑critical environments. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred, though equivalent experience is acceptable, and up to 30% travel is required.

The role offers an estimated compensation range of $160,000–$180,000 annually, with the position being remote‑eligible for candidates living near major data‑center markets such as Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Washington DC, Boston, Columbus, or Phoenix.
