About the Role
As a Senior Diesel Mechanic you will be responsible for keeping the fleet that serves over 20 million customers on the road. The position involves working on both diesel‑powered equipment and, at certain locations, a growing number of CNG trucks using modern tools and procedures. Daily tasks include troubleshooting and repairing complex vehicle systems, estimating repair costs, adhering to standardized labor times, and responding quickly to emergency breakdown calls. You’ll also conduct safety inspections, document work performed, and ensure the shop meets clean‑and‑safe standards. • Monday‑Friday schedule, variable shifts, no weekends; work in regional repair shops • Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on diesel and CNG trucks • Estimate time and material costs; adhere to Standard Labor Repair Times • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls and perform safety checks • Complete paperwork, parts usage documentation, and driver vehicle inspection reports • Maintain a clean, OSHA‑compliant work area

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least four years of relevant mechanical experience, a clean‑driving record, and be legally authorized to work in the United States. The role requires the physical ability to perform demanding labor, and all applicants must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical examination.
