Downer’s Energy & Utilities business is seeking qualified and experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a shutdown in Port Hedland, WA. The role involves routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of equipment such as dust and diesel systems, chutes and liners, and conveyor rollers. Candidates must be available from 23 February for inductions, PPE collection, and onboarding, and will be considered for future remote and regional WA projects. • Trade Certificate III Engineering Mechanical Trade • Construction Induction / White Card • Gas Test Atmospheres, Working at Heights, and Enter and Work in Confined Spaces within 5 years • Fire Certificate within 5 years • Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) – Highly desirable • Prior experience in a FIFO role performing Mechanical duties
