About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will act as the commercial lead for a portfolio of residential and mixed‑use development projects, managing all commercial and contractual activities from pre‑construction through to completion. You will be responsible for delivering procurement, commercial management and risk management in line with Clarion’s governance and the Procurement Act. The role requires strong commercial leadership, robust cost control and confident contract administration, working closely with Development and Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the required commercial standards. You will oversee pre‑ and post‑contract activities, provide expert advice, and ensure value for money and effective risk mitigation. • Lead procurement, commercial management and risk management across residential and mixed‑use projects. • Oversee all contractual activities from pre‑construction to completion, ensuring value for money and Procurement Act compliance. • Provide commercial advice to Development and Project Managers while controlling costs and administering contracts. • Utilise Atamis procurement system and PAMWIN/M3Pamwin Lite for valuations, variations and final account negotiations. • Maintain adherence to Clarion’s governance frameworks and relevant legislation. • Travel to regional sites and work from the London office at least three days per week.

What You Bring

Successful candidates will have proven commercial management experience in residential or mixed‑use development, preferably from a developer, contractor or consultancy background. Experience with procurement systems such as Atamis and cost‑management tools like PAMWIN/M3Pamwin Lite, as well as skills in valuations, variations and final account negotiations, is essential. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK, reside in England or Wales for the duration of employment and be prepared to travel to regional sites, working from the London office at least three days a week. Benefits

The role is based in London on a hybrid schedule, offering a salary of £67,820 to £84,776 plus a £5,000 annual car allowance, with the possibility of up to a 10% increase in exceptional cases.
