About the Role

Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Analyst is responsible for managing and troubleshooting building repairs and aesthetic issues in client retail stores. The role ensures vendors and projects are managed appropriately, meeting budget and timelines, while escalating issues for continuous improvement. This cross‑functional position works closely with onsite property managers, store planning, and Finance & Accounting, supporting daily implementation of policies, procedures, programs, and workplace services. Key duties include overseeing day‑to‑day operations such as janitorial, life‑safety, engineering, site services, and general maintenance in line with company policies. The Analyst reviews contracts, conducts bidding as needed, verifies invoices, supervises interior and exterior maintenance programs, and manages the Handyman program. Work orders are handled from creation through invoicing, with coordination via the Jacobs helpdesk, vendor updates, and project schedule changes. Additional responsibilities involve supporting store set‑ups and closures, conducting on‑site assessments, reviewing vendor work, preparing financial reports, and assisting with capital budgeting and cost‑reduction initiatives. • Ensure daily operations of retail properties (janitorial, life‑safety, engineering, site services) align with company policies. • Review, bid, and manage contracts; verify invoices match contract pricing. • Supervise interior and exterior maintenance programs and the Handyman program. • Manage work orders from creation to invoicing and coordinate with the Jacobs helpdesk. • Provide updates on vendor changes, project schedules, and store set‑ups or closures. • Conduct on‑site assessments, review vendor work, and address deficiencies. • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, purchase orders, and assist with capital budgeting. • Monitor tenant and vendor insurance compliance and coordinate claims. • Perform periodic facility inspections and remediate findings. • Communicate effectively with property managers, finance, and senior leadership.

What You Bring

Core competencies required are strong communication, technical proficiency, problem‑solving, leadership, teamwork, relationship management, and financial management. Candidates must hold an associate’s degree in facilities management or a related field and possess three to five years of experience in commercial or industrial real‑estate facility management, preferably with retail exposure and CMMS/work order management experience. Cushman & Wakefield offers a comprehensive benefits package—including health, vision, dental, flexible spending, retirement plans, and paid time off—along with competitive compensation ranging from $59,500 to $70,000, subject to location, experience, and collective bargaining agreements.
