About the Role

You will also use your network to support business development and work‑winning activities. • Implement and maintain design management systems across all project phases. • Ensure design processes meet business, statutory, legal and contractual requirements. • Coordinate design activities with construction, commercial, programme and procurement teams. • Lead design resources to achieve safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability and compliance standards. • Serve as primary contact for client design issues and maintain strong client relationships. • Guide daily activities of the design management team to deliver strategic outcomes and KPIs. • Develop and support long‑term strategy for the business unit and promote sustainable practices. • Foster a diverse, inclusive environment that prioritises team wellbeing. • Provide knowledge‑sharing forums and leverage Mace’s centres of excellence and knowledge hub. • Network and innovate to adopt best practices across projects. • Use professional networks to support business development and work‑winning activities.

What You Bring
Within our consulting business we harness a unique combination of leading‑edge practical expertise and project delivery consultancy to unlock the potential in every project. You’ll need to have a bachelor’s degree in architecture and experience on projects of a similar nature. You’ll also have membership of RIBA, MICE, CIBSE, CIOB, RICS, CIAT or an equivalent professional body, extensive experience delivering projects and programmes in the construction sector, deep construction and consultancy expertise, and knowledge of building safety legislation, standards, contracts and health and safety regulations. In addition, you should have leadership experience of large, diverse teams, senior stakeholder management skills and an understanding of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape project outcomes. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in architecture. • Possess relevant experience on similar aviation or infrastructure projects. • Hold membership of RIBA, MICE, CIBSE, CIOB, RICS, CIAT or equivalent professional body. • Demonstrate leadership of large, diverse teams and senior stakeholder management.
