About the Role
The position requires a journeyperson‑level electrical licence and involves regular monitoring, inspection, and troubleshooting of equipment within the limits of company policy and trade certification. Responsibilities include managing work orders from dispatch to completion, documenting resolutions, and overseeing service providers as needed. • Perform work according to established processes and practices • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and fire protection requirements • Conduct regular monitoring, inspection, preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems • Provide observations, identify deficiencies, and recommend enhancements or repairs • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair building systems within policy and certification limits • Respond to routine and on‑demand service requests • Manage work order lifecycle, record resolution data, and ensure quality standards • Track, monitor, and report status of maintenance and repair activities • Assist in implementing and documenting preventative maintenance programs • Participate in facility‑related projects • Maintain and arrange repair/replacement of assigned tools • Submit expenditures promptly and support tenant/customer satisfaction • Strictly adhere to health and safety policies and wear required PPE

What You Bring
The Technician IV – Electrician must hold a valid provincial Certificate of Qualification and any required examinations. This role operates facility systems and performs both preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring uninterrupted client operations and asset integrity while complying with environmental, health and safety, and fire protection standards. Shift work, on‑call/standby availability, and adherence to health and safety policies—including the use of required personal protective equipment—are mandatory. Candidates should have 3‑5 years of facility operations experience, high school and trades training, and strong troubleshooting, communication, and client‑service skills. • Tools, boots and uniform provided • Available for shift work, on‑call/standby and emergency call‑outs • 3‑5 years of facility operations and maintenance experience • BMCS controls experience is an asset • Advanced troubleshooting and resolution skills for mechanical and electrical equipment • Current knowledge of fire, life safety, building codes and standards • Strong client‑service orientation, urgency, and effective communication
