About the Role
In this position you will act as the go‑to expert for health, wellness, and retirement programs, leading benefit meetings and maintaining digital systems such as Dayforce and BenefitFirst during open enrollment. You will also manage workers’ compensation and vehicle claims, partnering with insurance carriers, medical providers, and the Safety team to get injured employees back on their feet while continuously improving workplace safety. As part of the corporate HR team you will keep our shared services engine running efficiently by updating organizational charts, analyzing renewal data, and assisting with special projects to maintain compliance. The environment is supportive and professional, offering moderate noise levels and ample opportunities for collaboration. You will report directly to the VP of Human Resources, travel occasionally to branch offices or field sites, and work in a corporate setting that values teamwork, integrity, and outstanding customer service. • Serve as primary expert for health, wellness, and retirement benefits, including 401(k) and wellness perks. • Lead benefit meetings and help employees understand their coverage options. • Maintain HRIS platforms (Dayforce, BenefitFirst) and ensure accurate benefits administration during open enrollment. • Manage workers’ compensation and vehicle claims, coordinating with insurance carriers, medical providers, and the Safety team. • Update organizational charts, analyze renewal data, and support special HR projects to ensure compliance. • Translate complex insurance jargon into clear, employee‑friendly communication. • Provide outstanding customer service with high integrity and a collaborative attitude. • Report to the VP of Human Resources; occasional travel to branch offices; work in a supportive corporate environment.

What You Bring
• Minimum 2 years of benefits administration experience and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree. • Knowledge of benefits laws, workers’ comp regulations, and medical terminology. • Proficient with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and able to quickly learn HRIS systems. • Preferred certifications: PHR, SHRM‑CP, CEBS, or OSHA 10‑Hour.
