About the Role

The Investment Analyst role is heavily involved in acquisition and business development for both assets and prospective clients. Working alongside Acquisitions, Development, and Asset Management, the analyst researches, prepares analyses, builds financial models, and underwrites opportunities to guide decision‑making. • Conduct due diligence and underwriting of new investment opportunities. • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate property performance and recommend actions. • Monitor industry market conditions and trends. • Underwrite acquisition targets and prepare analytical reports. • Review and propose budgets, comparing actuals versus pro forma to advise hold, sell, or refinance decisions. • Prepare and deliver presentation materials for new and existing investments. • Support acquisition, financing, and disposition processes. • Assist with capital market activities, property asset management, and operational responsibilities. • Respond to investor reporting requests. • Facilitate monthly reporting, trend analysis, forecasting, and projections. • Recommend operational strategies for properties. • Perform escrow analysis, construction draws, reserve reimbursements, and performance analysis. • Value existing real estate assets using historical operating and financial data. • Model future asset financial performance based on company standards and due‑diligence inputs. • Compile, log, and interpret due‑diligence data on financial, physical, and market aspects. • Create financial models for development and construction projects. • Analyze transaction returns, including cash‑on‑cash and leveraged/unleveraged metrics. • Prepare investment analysis packages with transaction overview, market overview, and sensitivity analysis.

What You Bring

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. • Demonstrate strong critical reasoning, quantitative, and analytical abilities. • Possess a deep understanding of financial concepts. • Exhibit excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. • Show proven organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. • Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel and large‑scale data manipulation. • Have past operational experience in residential property management.
