About the Role
The primary duties involve performing system commissioning with Johnson Controls tools, loading controller software, and completing all required documentation. You will troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control issues, respond to warranty calls, and provide customers with high‑level service and efficiency recommendations. Calibration of systems using electronic test equipment and strict adherence to safety standards are essential, as is maintaining accurate timesheets, expense reports, and as‑built records. Additional responsibilities include supporting mechanics on non‑critical building automation equipment, offering quotes for recommended solutions, and pursuing self‑study to stay proficient with product lines. What You Bring
Candidates should have a two‑year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or related fields, or at least two years of relevant industry experience. Required knowledge includes HVAC control systems, facilities management, site preparation, and peripheral equipment installation. Strong people skills, the ability to explain technical information to diverse audiences, leadership abilities, and PC proficiency for HVAC software programming are also essential. • Hold a 2‑year degree or ≥2 years experience in electronics, mechanical systems, HVAC, or related field. • Demonstrate knowledge of HVAC control and facilities management systems, PC proficiency, and ability to program HVAC software. • Exhibit strong communication, leadership, and professional ethics when interacting with customers and subcontractors.

The role offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $19.42 to $24.00, with additional compensation based on experience and qualifications.
