Job Highlights
About the Role
In this role you will provide general labor for aerial and underground construction projects, performing tasks such as trench digging, material handling, conduit placement, and fiber‑blowing operations. You will operate and maintain equipment, follow design schematics, and adhere to NESC safety guidelines under the direction of a foreman or supervisor. • Dig trenches, unload materials, and prepare job sites using hand tools. • Perform fiber‑blowing operations and assist in installing fiber optic cable. • Place conduit, support trench digging and closing, and move materials/vehicles as directed. • Operate and maintain equipment such as line trucks, bucket trucks, cable reels, saws, and drills (as certified). • Tow flat‑bed trailers and conduct aerial/underground work as trained. • Troubleshoot and repair RF and fiber lines and equipment; construct underground services. • Read and interpret maps, design schematics, and construction drawings. • Follow NESC safety guidelines and prescribed safety procedures, using appropriate PPE. • Perform site maintenance tasks including cleanup, vehicle washing, and landscaping.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate is safety‑focused, holds a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and can lift up to 70 lb. You should be able to read maps and design schematics, have climbing certification or related experience, and possess practical knowledge of RF and fiber overhead construction and network architecture. Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment are essential. • Climb poles safely using climbing equipment; hold climbing certification. • Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Able to lift and carry up to 70 lb. • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with a hands‑on approach. • Experience in overhead RF and fiber construction; knowledge of network architecture and bill of materials. • Flagger certified for field work as needed. • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment and commit to long‑term projects.
