About the Role

The engineer will develop and optimize CVI process parameters, reduce cycle times, and improve product quality while collaborating with materials, R&D, and design teams to transition new products from development to manufacturing and implement lean manufacturing controls. Daily responsibilities include providing technical support to resolve production issues, monitoring key performance indicators such as yield and throughput, conducting root‑cause analyses, authoring SOPs and compliance documentation, and supporting the maintenance, upgrade, and commissioning of CVI furnaces and related equipment. • Optimize CVI process parameters, cycle times, and product quality. • Collaborate with materials, R&D, and design teams to transition products to manufacturing. • Implement process controls and lean manufacturing principles. • Provide day‑to‑day technical support to resolve production issues. • Monitor KPIs such as yield, throughput, and cycle time. • Lead root‑cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions. • Author and maintain SOPs, manufacturing instructions, and compliance documentation. • Support maintenance, upgrades, and commissioning of CVI furnaces and equipment. • Apply Six Sigma, 5S, PFMEA to drive continuous improvement and cost reduction.

What You Bring

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and hold an associate degree with seven years of experience, a bachelor’s with five years, a master’s with three years, or a PhD/JD with relevant experience. Preferred qualifications include experience with CMC or aerospace component manufacturing, vacuum furnace operation, process safety management, gas flow control, instrumentation, hazardous gas handling, and equipment validation. • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required. • Education/experience: associate +7 yrs, bachelor +5 yrs, master +3 yrs, or PhD/JD with relevant experience. • Preferred: experience with CMC components, vacuum furnace operation, PSM implementation, gas flow control, instrumentation, hazardous gas handling, FAT/SAT validation.
