About the Role

The Regional Procurement Manager serves as the primary procurement contact for assigned regions, overseeing the selection of third‑party subcontractors for JCI projects and collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Operations from project inception through execution. Key responsibilities include driving best practices, ensuring accurate quoting, managing supplier rationalization, executing contracts, leading negotiations, and developing cost‑saving initiatives with category managers and branch teams. The role also involves maintaining and expanding supplier relationships, optimizing trade working capital, and improving communication between procurement and field offices. Success in this role requires developing and aligning multiple supply‑chain strategies, achieving cost‑effective procurement of subcontract labor, and delivering year‑over‑year savings. The manager will create dashboards, metrics, and controls, ensure compliance with policies and legal contracts, and mentor Field Procurement Managers to meet profit‑plan goals. • Manage subcontractor selection and support project teams from inception to execution. • Lead supplier negotiations, contract execution, and cost‑saving initiatives. • Drive supplier development, supply‑base rationalization, and working‑capital optimization. • Engage with regional leadership and oversee Field Procurement Managers. • Develop supply‑chain strategies to achieve cost‑effective procurement and year‑over‑year savings. • Create dashboards, metrics, and compliance controls for procurement operations. • Mentor team members, set annual goals, and align with business priorities.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and have 5–8 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction, along with 5–8 years of field project management in HVAC, fire, or security trades. Required skills include negotiation, blueprint reading, cost analysis, advanced Excel, strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication. • Require bachelor’s degree, 5–8 years procurement (construction preferred) and field project management experience. • Strong negotiation, blueprint reading, cost analysis, and Excel skills required. • Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
