About the Role

• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies. • Assist senior engineers with specifications, datasheets, technical requisitions, and bid evaluations. • Perform mechanical design calculations for pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, compressors, turbines, and pumps. • Propose improvements, collaborate with the team, and update documentation. • Attend customer site meetings and field walk‑downs. • Cross‑train in environmental, process safety, or furnace engineering as needed. • Communicate technical issues and project status with leadership, designers, and other departments. • Maintain complete and accurate project documentation for assigned tasks.

The Mechanical Engineering Intern will join the Mechanical Department to learn core mechanical‑engineering skills while contributing deliverables to customer projects. The internship is open to candidates currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited program in Mechanical Engineering (bachelor’s, master’s or PhD). Applicants should be in good academic standing, proficient with common software tools, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. • Required: enrollment in or recent graduation from an accredited Mechanical Engineering program (bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD) in good academic standing. • Required: proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Documentum, AutoCAD, and Adobe. • Preferred: programming experience and strong organizational, problem‑solving, and detail‑oriented skills. • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to receive guidance from senior engineers.
