About the Role
The Sr. Analyst, Operations Technology is responsible for supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of technology that enhances operations and delivers business benefits. This role works closely with area and field leaders, implementation teams, labor relations, corporate stakeholders, IT, and external vendors. The technology solutions aim to improve experiences for more than 20,000 drivers, dispatchers, supervisors and managers and are a core component of the company’s future‑state roadmap. The analyst supports all phases of program and product development, including the deployment of cutting‑edge in‑cab technology and the creation of mitigation plans for deployment issues. They monitor program performance, generate reporting, conduct ad‑hoc analyses, and provide recommendations to improve processes and efficiencies. In addition, they review product enhancements, maintain up‑to‑date training materials, and work with managers, technology vendors, and cross‑functional teams to define requirements and roadmaps. The role also manages project planning, change management, communications, training, vendor relationships, and logistical alignment for pilots and new technology initiatives. • Support all aspects of program and product development for operational technology. • Implement and deploy cutting‑edge in‑cab technology and resolve deployment issues. • Conduct pre‑planning, reporting, and adoption monitoring for in‑cab solutions. • Perform ad‑hoc analyses and generate recommendations for process and program improvements. • Review product enhancements and maintain up‑to‑date training materials. • Collaborate with managers, vendors, and cross‑functional teams to define requirements and roadmaps. • Manage project planning, change management, communications, and training for key initiatives. • Maintain vendor relationships, explore new technologies, and support pilot execution. • Ensure logistical alignment across multiple vendors.

What You Bring
This position requires strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and a demonstrated commitment to teamwork. Candidates should have at least five years of experience in process improvement and financial analysis within the waste industry or a related field, and a minimum of two years performing systems analysis and translating business needs into system solutions. Prior experience in the waste industry is preferred. • Minimum 5 years of process improvement and financial analysis experience in the waste industry or related field. • Minimum 2 years of systems analysis translating business needs into system solutions. • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and collaborative teamwork skills.
