About the Role

Safely operates a heavy-duty truck on transfer routes for Waste Management, adhering to OSHA, DOT and company standards. The driver conducts vehicle inspections, reports safety concerns, participates in training, collaborates with operations to improve routes, assists colleagues, handles incidents, communicates with customers, unloads and positions containers, completes paperwork and maintains a clean work environment. • Operate heavy‑duty truck in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company policies. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using DVIR and report issues. • Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, or property damage. • Participate in scheduled training, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and resolve safety concerns. • Assist fellow drivers as directed and follow assigned schedules. • Communicate customer requests and issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Dump containers, clean the site, and position containers correctly on customer property. • Complete and submit customer tickets for excess yardage removal. • Fill out all required documentation and check‑in at end of route.

What You Bring

Minimum requirement is a Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) with age 18+, an acceptable driving record, and successful completion of DOT drug screen, physical and background check; no prior experience or education is needed.
