About the Role
The Property Manager for Multifamily at The Kallan at Verdi Village is accountable for maintaining the community to a market‑ready standard while delivering a high level of service and motivating a high‑performing team to maximize property performance. Key duties include overseeing all operations such as maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. The manager provides superior customer service to residents and prospects, completes lease paperwork to company standards, tracks advertising effectiveness, and resolves conflicts promptly. They develop, mentor, and lead on‑site staff across leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management, while ensuring compliance with Cushman & Wakefield policies and managing the community budget and finances. • Oversee community operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. • Provide superior customer service to residents and prospects to increase satisfaction, renewals, and revenue. • Complete lease and renewal paperwork in accordance with company standards. • Track advertising performance and manage prospect traffic. • Develop, mentor, and lead a high‑performing on‑site team across leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management. • Analyze competition and implement creative marketing programs to drive revenue. • Ensure compliance with Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures. • Hire, interview, coach, and retain staff while minimizing turnover. • Maintain resident files and resolve conflicts promptly. • Manage community budget, finances, and expense controls. • Collaborate with leasing staff to meet leasing and marketing goals. • Set performance goals and improve staff leasing performance.

What You Bring
Required competencies are strong communication, computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, and general office, bookkeeping, and sales skills. The role demands goal setting, performance improvement, team supervision, and the ability to perform other related duties as assigned. Preferred education includes a Bachelor’s degree and a Real Estate License, with at least three years of property management and management experience. The position operates in a professional office setting with standard equipment and requires regular travel up to 15%, extended periods of standing and walking, and the ability to lift, carry, or move objects up to 25 pounds. Physical demands also include occasional use of staircases, ladders, and outdoor travel in varying weather conditions. • Demonstrate effective communication, computer proficiency, and bookkeeping/sales skills. • Possess a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and Real Estate License (preferred); require 3+ years of property management and management experience. • Work in a professional office environment, travel up to 15%, stand/walk for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lb.
