About the Role

The position oversees all aspects of warehouse operations, including managing personnel performance, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring safe execution of physical and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include coordinating deliveries, loading and unloading trucks, auditing material movements, and documenting supplier issues while reporting key performance metrics. The role also requires participation in safety meetings, on‑call rotations, and extended hours to support business needs. • Manage personnel performance. • Report performance metrics and overtime. • Meet and complete all expectations and requirements. • Maintain cross‑training and succession planning. • Safely perform physical and administrative warehouse tasks. • Make deliveries throughout the plant as needed. • Perform housekeeping duties. • Load and unload sweep and freight trucks. • Audit incoming/outgoing materials against BOL, packing slips and purchase orders. • Inspect and validate materials for technical acceptance. • Enter goods receipt transactions in SAP R3. • Print and affix stock or sweep truck labels to spare parts. • Document supplier discrepancies per process. • Complete UPS and FedEx logs daily. • Complete driver’s log daily. • Record key performance metrics on tier board. • Correctly stage/store materials in assigned locations. • Maintain accurate inventory levels. • Assist hot‑shot drivers, business calls and walk‑ins as necessary. • Interact professionally with employees, customers and suppliers. • Transport material between Geismar site and off‑site warehouse. • Attend daily morning safety meeting. • Participate in on‑call/call‑out rotation. • Work extended hours to support business needs.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates possess a strong background in materials and warehouse operations with demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and computer proficiency, including experience with SAP and forklift certifications. The job demands physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lb, and working at heights, while adhering to personal protective equipment requirements. • Experience in materials and warehouse operations with strong leadership. • Effective interpersonal and team‑building skills. • Excellent computer skills. • Knowledge of SAP MM/WM or equivalent. • Forklift and Raymond (reach truck) certified.
