About the Role
The Lead Data Solution Engineer will design and implement cutting‑edge data technologies that improve digital experiences and drive faster results. In this position you will lead ABAP and Master Data Governance (MDG) initiatives on SAP S/4HANA, partnering with agile product teams and enterprise architects to create scalable, secure, and supportable master‑data solutions. You will ensure all deliverables meet architecture standards, performance benchmarks, and best‑practice guidelines while continuously exploring AI/ML and automation opportunities to enhance data quality. • Lead ABAP & MDG consulting, delivering scalable technical solutions on SAP S/4HANA. • Translate business requirements into high‑quality code and master‑data designs. • Collaborate with agile product teams and architects to define resilient, secure data architectures. • Ensure compliance with system architecture standards, performance targets, and SAP best practices. • Evaluate and integrate SAP DQM, MDG automation, AI/ML, and Cognitive RPA to improve data quality. • Define end‑to‑end MDG architecture, including data models, governance workflows, and integration mechanisms. • Produce technical specifications, design patterns, conduct code reviews, and create test strategies and documentation. • Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to leadership proactively. • Conduct structured knowledge transfers to support teams for platform sustainability. • Work with source system owners and business stakeholders to identify authoritative master‑data sources and align with governance. • Hands‑on HANA modeling, SQL scripting, and query optimization.

What You Bring
To be considered, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and bring at least 12 years of IT experience, including multiple SAP MDG and S/4HANA implementations. Interested applicants should apply online; Kimberly‑Clark is an equal‑opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field. • 12+ years of IT experience with extensive SAP enterprise exposure. • Minimum three end‑to‑end SAP MDG implementations across key domains (BP, Customer, Vendor, Material, EAM). • At least one full S/4HANA implementation, focusing on master data, BP, CVI, or data migration. • Deep SAP MDG expertise: data models, governance processes, workflows, UI modeling, BRF+, DRF, validations. • Strong knowledge of Business Partner, Customer/Vendor Integration (CVI) and S/4HANA data structures. • Experience with data replication (ALE/IDoc, SOAP/OData APIs) to SAP and non‑SAP systems. • Proficient in OO‑ABAP development, enhancements, BAdIs, CDS views, debugging, performance tuning. • Familiarity with SAP Fiori, Floorplan Manager; MDG‑EAM experience is a plus. • Proven ability to deliver global programs in complex, multi‑vendor, multi‑time‑zone environments. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
