ESG Assurance Associate/ Senior Associate

About the Role

The role includes supporting project managers with day‑to‑day delivery, conducting assurance procedures such as media research, data review, evidence collection, site visits and disclosure review, maintaining documentation to standards, and assisting senior colleagues during client visits. • Support Project Managers in delivering independent GHG/ESG assurance for reporting, loans, product claims and carbon markets. • Perform assurance procedures: media research, analytical data review, evidence collection, site visits, and disclosure review. • Maintain project documentation and files in line with assurance standards and internal quality requirements. • Assist senior colleagues during client head‑office and on‑site visits. • Conduct data analysis and spreadsheet work using Microsoft Excel. • Communicate findings through clear written reports and presentations. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet client deadlines. • Build and maintain client relationships while travelling to client sites as needed.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a degree in sustainability, engineering, business or audit, have 0‑2 years’ experience and familiarity with assurance principles, GHG/ESG data and reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, GHG Protocol, ISSB, CDP, TCFD). Knowledge of relevant assurance standards (ISAE3000, ISO14064‑3), technical understanding of emissions, proficiency in Excel, strong written and verbal communication, ability to manage multiple projects, and willingness to travel are required. • Apply knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks (GRI, GHG Protocol, ISSB, CDP, TCFD, SDGs) and assurance standards (ISAE3000, ISO14064‑3).
