The technician will deliver on‑site support, including emergency repairs, start‑up services, and preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance and reliability of critical power equipment. Responsibilities span mission‑critical facilities and complex energy‑management challenges, acting as a trusted advisor to customers. The expected annual salary ranges from $79,000 to $116,000 and the position is overtime‑eligible. • Perform emergency repairs, start‑up services, and preventative maintenance on UPS and battery systems at customer sites. • Diagnose and troubleshoot power systems, read electrical schematics, and apply testing and repair techniques on single‑ and three‑phase circuits. • Travel daily nationwide using an Eaton‑provided vehicle; support regional customers for at least three weeks per quarter. • Maintain compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E safety standards and use provided PPE.

What You Bring

Minimum qualifications are a High School Diploma or GED, at least three years of experience with power systems, battery technologies, or electronics, and a valid unrestricted state driver’s license. Candidates must pass customer entrance requirements, including background checks and drug screenings, and be willing to travel daily across the U.S., supporting regional customers for a minimum of three weeks per quarter. Physical demands include lifting or carrying 50 lb, climbing, standing for extended periods, and long‑distance driving. Preferred qualifications include an Associate’s degree in electrical or electronics, current enrollment in a bachelor’s engineering program, an Electrical Technology Certificate, and the ability to read schematics and apply troubleshooting techniques.
