About the Role
Reporting to the Group Superintendent, the MEP Superintendent manages mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems throughout a project’s lifecycle. The role involves coordination with project managers, design teams, trade partners, and requires expertise in BIM and Autodesk tools such as Revit and Navisworks. The Superintendent ensures MEP scopes are fully coordinated, meet industry standards, and align with schedules and budgets, while providing technical support, overseeing installation, and guiding start‑up and commissioning activities. • Manage and oversee MEP field activities, coordinating with core & shell, civil, and finishes superintendents. • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to resolve clashes and optimize system integration. • Develop and maintain project schedules for MEP systems with schedulers. • Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets. • Conduct clash detection with MEP coordinators/engineers to optimize layouts. • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and specifications for MEP designs and installations. • Facilitate regular coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders. • Provide technical support and guidance on MEP and BIM issues. • Prepare and maintain accurate models, drawings, and project documentation. • Create visual presentations and reports for stakeholders. • Develop detailed MEP scope sheets outlining deliverables and trade responsibilities. • Compile bid matrices and verify trade coordination. • Prepare GMP pricing and design‑build budgets as needed. • Oversee and coordinate start‑up and commissioning with commissioning agents.

What You Bring
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, over ten years of MEP superintendent experience, advanced proficiency with Autodesk software, and strong problem‑solving, communication, and multitasking abilities. Travel within Ohio and occasional neighboring states is expected. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (preferred). • 10+ years experience as an MEP superintendent or in a related role. • Proven track record managing MEP systems on large‑scale construction projects. • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD (preferred). • Knowledge of BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and other collaboration tools (a plus). • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. • Willingness to travel within Ohio and occasionally to neighboring states, with most nights at home.
