About the Role

The Accountant role provides support for day‑to‑day project accounting activities, collaborating closely with project teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate financial management and compliance. • Prepare project journal entries and reconcile cost reports. • Compile and analyze project pay forms to meet deadlines. • Track subcontractor insurance and bond information. • Assist with month‑end closing, budget revisions, and updates. • Set up and maintain cost codes and cost types for projects. • Support field personnel timecard entry and certified payroll reporting. • Enter equipment time entries and reconcile equipment accruals. • Process onsite invoices and support accounts payable functions. • Expedite payments and resolve accounting issues with vendors and subcontractors. • Act as liaison between project teams and external accounting parties.

What You Bring

Candidates should have at least three years of construction field accounting experience (or equivalent training), preferably a bachelor’s degree, and possess basic to intermediate knowledge of construction accounting, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, effective time‑management, and solid communication skills. • Adhere to corporate policies and ACCIONA’s strategic values. • Minimum three years of construction field accounting experience. • Bachelor’s degree preferred; basic to intermediate construction accounting knowledge.
