About the Role
As a member of the GCoE Sprinkler & Suppression Team, you will design sprinkler and gas suppression systems in line with NFPA, FM, IS, and NBC codes. Responsibilities include project take‑offs, specification interpretation, scope creation, risk analysis, cost sheet preparation, vendor coordination, compliance, and value‑engineering to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. You will independently execute projects throughout their lifecycle, reviewing MEP drawings and tender specifications, preparing fire‑fighting layouts and engineering BOMs, raising RFIs, and maintaining quality assurance. Adherence to company design, bid, and quote tools and processes is essential for on‑time completion. • Design sprinkler and gas suppression systems following NFPA, FM, IS, and NBC standards. • Perform project take‑offs, specification interpretation, scope creation, risk analysis, and cost sheet preparation. • Coordinate with vendors, manage HSN/SAP code creation, and drive value‑engineering initiatives. • Review MEP drawings and tender specifications, raise RFIs, and produce fire‑fighting layouts and engineering BOMs. • Ensure quality assurance, defect‑free drawings, and on‑time delivery adhering to company processes. • Produce accurate estimates and proposals that impact competitiveness and profitability.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a BE or M.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation, Electrical/Electronics, with 6‑8 years of relevant experience. Strong domain knowledge of fire‑fighting and gas suppression systems (e.g., Novec, FM‑200, Inergen, CO₂, sprinkler, hydrant, water spray) and proficiency in AutoCAD, SprinkCad, Pipenet, and Fire Cad are required. Excellent communication, quick learning, organization, and the ability to lead multiple projects are essential; APAC experience is a plus. • Hold a BE/M.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation, Electrical/Electronics with 6‑8 years of relevant experience. • Demonstrate strong domain knowledge of fire‑fighting and gas suppression systems (e.g., Novec, FM‑200, Inergen, CO₂, sprinkler, hydrant, water spray). • Proficient in AutoCAD, SprinkCad, Pipenet, and Fire Cad; knowledgeable of NFPA, TAC, NBC, and IS codes. • Excellent written and verbal communication, quick learner, organized, and able to lead multiple simultaneous projects. • Experience with APAC markets and product knowledge considered an advantage.
