About the Role

This full‑time position is based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and is classified under Customer Service & Contact Center Operations for Hitachi Energy L.L.C. The role focuses on ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods and services by proactively managing supplier performance and coordinating across stakeholders. Key responsibilities include using tools such as Ceolins to monitor open purchase orders, requesting status updates from suppliers and project managers, and coordinating with the Purchasing team to adjust or close POs as needed. The incumbent will identify and resolve delivery delays, escalate issues internally when required, and provide weekly reports summarizing scheduled receipts by category and country to SCM, Operations, and Purchasing Managers. Additional duties involve facilitating PO modifications, ensuring required documentation is in place, managing inbound delivery entries, supporting the Goods Receipt process, and tracking performance metrics related to on‑time delivery. • Monitor open purchase orders and request status updates from suppliers and project managers. • Coordinate with Purchasing and other departments to adjust, close, or modify POs. • Identify delivery delays, resolve issues, and escalate internally when needed. • Prepare weekly reports on scheduled receipts by category and country for SCM, Operations, and Purchasing Managers. • Facilitate PO documentation, including testing certificates and certificates of origin. • Manage inbound delivery entries and support the Goods Receipt process for both international and in‑country shipments. • Track key performance metrics for on‑time delivery and continuously improve the expediting process. • Maintain accurate activity records and communications in the Ceolins system. • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, procedures, and Hitachi Energy’s safety and integrity values.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, and have at least three years of experience in logistics, expediting, or procurement, preferably within fast‑track project environments. Strong communication skills, proficiency with advanced Excel, Ceolins or Power BI, Microsoft Office, and preferably SAP4H, as well as problem‑solving abilities and fluency in spoken and written English, are required.
