About the Role

Key duties include building detailed financial underwriting models, sourcing and negotiating financing facilities, and maintaining senior mortgage‑syndication relationships. The incumbent will monitor a portfolio of SASB CMBS loans, conduct loan and portfolio surveillance, and produce pricing and reporting. Market analysis requires fieldwork, broker and developer outreach, and synthesis of rent, vacancy, and liquidity insights. Findings are presented in comprehensive narratives to senior management and discussed in Investment Committee meetings. • Originate, underwrite, and execute real‑estate debt investments across diverse property types. • Develop optimization strategies for loan and business capital structures and assess underlying asset risks. • Build and maintain complex financial underwriting models for financing real‑estate projects. • Source, negotiate, structure, and monitor financing facilities while expanding senior mortgage‑syndication relationships. • Oversee SASB CMBS portfolio surveillance, pricing, reporting, and loan performance. • Conduct market research, fieldwork, and broker/developer outreach to evaluate rent, vacancy, and liquidity trends. • Prepare and present comprehensive investment narratives to senior management and Investment Committee. • Support ongoing asset‑management activities for each investment.

What You Bring

The successful candidate will have 2‑6 years of relevant experience, preferably in real‑estate investment banking, private equity, development, or institutional sales. Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel (Argus a plus), familiarity with Bloomberg and SASB CMBS, and a strong grasp of market pricing and bond mathematics are required. Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities, excellent written and oral communication, and high integrity are essential. The role demands self‑motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, performance‑driven environment. • Require 2‑6 years of relevant experience, preferably in real‑estate investment banking, private equity, development, or institutional sales. • Demonstrate superior financial modeling proficiency in Excel; Argus, Bloomberg, and SASB CMBS experience are a plus. • Exhibit strong quantitative, analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with high integrity.
