About the Role

The SH&E Advisor is responsible for identifying safety, health, and environmental (SH&E) requirements, assessing and monitoring compliance, and ensuring alignment with local legislative obligations as well as project and AECOM business needs. • Serve as the field/project point of contact for SH&E‑related matters. • Identify AECOM, project, and legislative requirements and ensure stakeholder compliance. • Conduct daily inspections of contractor activities to verify adherence to SH&E policies, plans, and obligations. • Perform visual inspections, report issues, submit findings via the project reporting system, and follow up on close‑outs. • Execute technical work across environmental, health, and safety disciplines to maintain compliance with ES&H standards and federal/state regulations. • Apply fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures related to environmental specialties. • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining safety and health programs, systems, and procedures. • Monitor and mitigate hazards and health risks present in the work environment. • Investigate accidents, injuries, and complaints related to workplace hazards.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least eight years of relevant experience and hold a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, or an engineering degree combined with a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent. • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience. • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, or Engineering degree with NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
