About the Role
Position Summary: The Building Engineer is responsible for performing or directing all service maintenance requests for a specific property. This role works Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. • Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on buildings, systems, equipment, and grounds. • Monitor building system operations and performance. • Conduct plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs. • Ensure client goals, objectives, and management agreement requirements are met. • Carry out mechanical maintenance to maximize system life and reliability. • Test, maintain, adjust, and care for HVAC equipment (chillers, pumps, fan‑powered boxes) and control systems (DDC). • Service commercial plumbing and electrical systems, including breaker resets and circuit testing. • Troubleshoot and maintain commercial kitchen equipment (preferred). • Perform lighting system maintenance and retrofits. • Manage general building systems and operate CMMS (IMPAK). • Maintain sprinkler, dry pipe, fire panel, and fire pump systems. • Assist with capital project planning.

What You Bring
Education and Experience: A high‑school diploma with a minimum of five years of commercial building maintenance and repair experience is required. Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and preventative maintenance is essential, and the ability to troubleshoot a variety of building systems is expected. HVAC technical training and EPA refrigeration licenses are highly preferred. • Hold HS diploma with at least 5 years commercial building maintenance experience. • Possess knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and preventative maintenance. • Ability to troubleshoot a variety of building systems. • HVAC technical training and EPA refrigeration license (highly preferred).
