About the Role
The Property Manager for Multifamily communities at Cushman & Wakefield is tasked with maintaining properties to market‑ready standards while delivering high‑level resident service. This role also focuses on motivating high‑performing teams to maximize property performance. Key responsibilities include overseeing all daily operations such as maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. The manager provides superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction, renewals, reputation, and profitability, and ensures all lease and renewal paperwork meets company standards. Leadership duties involve developing, mentoring, and managing a cohesive on‑site team that includes leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel, fostering engagement and reducing turnover. The manager also drives revenue through competitive analysis and creative marketing programs while exemplifying Cushman & Wakefield’s mission and policies. • Oversee daily operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, and collections. • Provide superior customer service to residents and prospects to increase satisfaction and renewals. • Lead, mentor, and retain a high‑performing on‑site team across leasing, customer service, and maintenance functions. • Develop and execute creative marketing programs based on competitive analysis. • Ensure compliance with company policies, lease paperwork standards, and reporting requirements. • Manage community budgets, forecasts, and expense controls. • Resolve resident conflicts promptly to maintain a positive living environment.

What You Bring
Core competencies required are effective communication, strong customer service, computer literacy with Microsoft Office, general office, bookkeeping, and sales skills. The role demands the ability to set leasing goals, supervise daily team operations, and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and a Real Estate License, along with at least three years of property management experience and three years of managerial experience. The position operates in a professional office environment with regular use of standard office equipment and requires up to 15% travel. Physical demands involve extended periods of standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, as well as the ability to navigate stairs, ladders, and varying outdoor conditions. The employee must be capable of performing these tasks while maintaining a stationary position for the majority of the workday. • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred, Real Estate License preferred, 3+ years property management and managerial experience. • Required skills: effective communication, customer service, Microsoft Office proficiency, bookkeeping, and sales. • Physical requirements: ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb, and travel up to 15 % of time.

Benefits
Compensation ranges from $59,500 to $70,000 and includes a comprehensive benefits package such as health, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid time off.
