Delivery Lead

About the Role

The Delivery Lead reports directly to the Director‑IT and joins a team dedicated to leveraging cloud, data analytics, the Internet of Things, and design thinking to deliver intelligent buildings and smart cities that improve people’s lives and the world. As a Solution Architect you will work with customers and partners to conceive, design, and implement technology solutions, translating business requirements into technical specifications that align with the enterprise architectural plan, and partnering with Johnson Controls' business and technology leaders to select optimal architectures. You will apply your technical expertise to review and interpret detailed business requirements, ensuring alignment between customer expectations and Johnson Controls solutions, while collaborating closely with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. Johnson Controls enhances the intelligence of buildings, making them safer, more comfortable, efficient, and sustainable, thereby allowing occupants to focus on their unique missions, whether they are living, working, learning, healing, or entertaining. • Define logical architecture and data flows for OpenBlue solutions • Identify data requirements • Conduct and attend customer design workshops • Prepare solution architecture documentation • Liaise with customer IT for enterprise SSO implementation • Plan authentication and authorization for platforms and applications • Coordinate data security, privacy, and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) • Lead cyber‑security assessments and workshops • Define system integrations and manage API specifications with manufacturers • Arrange test systems with manufacturers • Collaborate with connector team to provide required integration details • Prepare Interface Control Documents as needed
