About the Role

The Clean Energy District Manager works in‑field, regularly visiting retail partner stores to coach, support and manage a team of Clean Energy Ambassadors who operate onsite. This role coordinates staffing, training, and performance metrics while serving as the primary Sunrun point of contact for each location. The manager also ensures compliance, drives lead generation, and collaborates with regional leadership on process improvements. • Source, interview, hire, and onboard top talent Clean Energy Ambassadors with recruiting team support. • Deliver new‑hire and ongoing training; provide in‑field coaching to boost store rep productivity. • Drive lead generation and meet sales goals set by Sales Leaders. • Supervise daily performance of Clean Energy Ambassadors. • Plan and schedule staffing levels at retail locations, optimizing hours and personnel. • Act as the main Sunrun contact for each retail location, ensuring 100 % retailer satisfaction and coordinating in‑store events. • Conduct field audits to verify compliance with talk tracks, merchandising, uniforms, and safety standards. • Track daily, weekly, and monthly results, communicating trends to leadership. • Hold daily huddles and weekly one‑on‑ones to monitor KPIs and performance standards. • Maintain staff retention at defined levels, promoting employee satisfaction and career growth. • Support regional and national leaders in rolling out new processes and change management. • Operationalize productivity‑enhancing plays locally and provide feedback for regional improvements.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. • Minimum 2 years of direct people‑management experience with a proven record of meeting performance standards. • At least 3 years in a quota‑driven sales role; lead generation and consumer sales experience preferred. • Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficient with email, Excel, Word, CRM (Salesforce) and Google Suite. • Experience with recruiting and people‑management platforms is a plus. • Demonstrated ability to build positive team culture and coach through motivation. • Ability to analyze and manipulate data to drive decisions. • Valid driver’s license and reliable commute to retail sites; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
