About the Role
In this position you will provide trusted guidance and operational support across the employee lifecycle, partnering with managers and employees to deliver consistent, high‑quality HR services that enable people to thrive. Key duties include supporting recruitment and onboarding, posting job openings, assisting with career fairs, responding to employee queries, aiding investigations and disciplinary processes, maintaining accurate employee records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local labor laws. You will also act as a point of contact for HR policy questions, participate in compliance reporting, and contribute to special projects that improve HR processes. As part of the Power Systems Business Unit, you will contribute to world‑class power solutions and life‑cycle support for marine and infrastructure sectors, working alongside dedicated technical experts in a culture of caring and belonging. • Coordinate recruitment activities, schedule interviews, and support candidate onboarding. • Post job openings, assist with plant career fairs, and contribute to talent attraction initiatives. • Respond to employee inquiries, aid investigations, and support disciplinary processes under senior supervision. • Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, and performance documentation in HR systems. • Support compliance with company policies and local labor regulations, including reporting and audits. • Participate in special HR projects and process improvement initiatives. • Promote adherence to the Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct and a safety‑focused culture.

What You Bring
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and hold either a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Management, or four years of HR generalist experience. Preferred qualifications include strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, discretion with confidential information, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Workday, and experience in a global matrix organization. • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; bachelor’s degree in HR/Business or 4 years HR generalist experience required. • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, AAP, and EEO requirements. • Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and conflict‑resolution skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Workday HRIS; experience in a global matrix organization.
