About the Role
• Prioritize safety and comply with DOT regulations and company policies. • Inspect machines for abnormalities or defects. • Perform routine scheduled maintenance on construction equipment and dump trucks. • Conduct on‑site and in‑field maintenance and repairs on paving equipment. • Complete maintenance and work order repair records. • Perform housekeeping duties and work‑area checks. • Operate mobile equipment. • Drive a company vehicle on public highways and job sites. • Work independently with limited supervision and schedule own work. • Develop working relationships with employees and vendors.

What You Bring
• Must be willing to travel to other plants in the surrounding area. • Minimum three years experience with construction equipment and on‑road trucks. • Ability to weld and fabricate as needed. • Familiarity with heavy‑equipment parts, catalogs, procurement, handling, storage, and cost. • Experience performing DOT Annual Inspections (preferred). • Ability to stoop, push, kneel, twist and lift up to 70 lb. • Ability to climb and work at heights up to 20 ft. • Able to work in all weather conditions. • Valid Class B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsement (preferred, not required).

Benefits
The position is full‑time on a day shift, with occasional night, weekend or overtime assignments, and a starting wage of $26 per hour. Travel to nearby plants may be required.
