Support our process engineering team in technical design, calculations, and project support as needed, under the supervision of our Process Manager.

- Help draft technical data sheets, reports, and engineering documents.
- Assister aux réunions d’équipe et participer à la préparation de présentations et de rapports d’avancement.
- Assist in the preparation of mass balances, calculations, and equipment sizing.
- Attend team meetings and help prepare presentations and progress reports
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure the quality of deliverables.
- Support the design team in developing process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and using CAD tools.

Primero is looking for a Process Engineering Intern who’s ready to learn, contribute, and grow with us. Founded in Australia in 2011, our Montreal team has been growing rapidly since 2016. We specialize in the design, procurement, and construction management of mineral processing plants, with a strong focus on the lithium industry and the global shift toward transport electrification.

Soutenir notre équipe en ingénierie de procédés dans la conception technique de procédés, les calculs et la gestion de projet, au besoin, sous la supervision de notre directrice des procédés.
- Curious, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn in a dynamic environment
- Capacité à analyser, résoudre des problèmes et travailler en équipe
- Disponible pour travailler en présentiel à notre bureau de Montréal, du lundi au vendredi
- À l’aise avec Microsoft Office; connaissance des PFD, P&ID ou logiciels de simulation est un atout
- Soutenir l’équipe de conception dans le développement de schémas de procédé (PFD/P&ID) et l’utilisation d’outils DAO.
- En dernière année d’un baccalauréat en génie chimique ou en génie du traitement des minéraux
- Doit être reconnu comme stage universitaire dans ton programme d’études
- Intérêt marqué pour la conception de procédés et le secteur minier
- Strong analytical, teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Applicants must have legal authorization to work in Canada
- Bilingue (français/anglais), un atout majeur
- Final year of a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mineral Processing Engineering
- Bilingual (French/English) is a strong asset
- Available to work in person at our Montreal office, Monday to Friday
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office; knowledge of PFDs, P&IDs or simulation tools is a plus
- Must be eligible for academic credit within your university program
