Assure the safe, efficient, and continuous commodity supply to meet system demands.
Operate assigned plants as a Stationary Engineer in compliance with published Company operating and safety policies/procedures.
Ensure water quality at assigned plants by executing prescribed water management procedures and maintaining proper plant chemistry.
Compliance and Regulatory Obligations: Ensure all project obligations are successfully administered and regulatory requirements are met.
Monitor assigned plant operations through various controls systems/technologies.
Act as sole Constellation representative onsite at customer's facility. Maintain customer relationships with all customers served by assigned plants
Participate in and complete all required training to comply with company safety and operating policies.
Maintain & monitor safe working conditions; identifies, corrects, and reports unsafe work areas, enforces safety compliance.
Create, maintain, and follow up on work orders for equipment repairs, documenting all maintenance activities and outcomes.

Demonstrated experience as a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently
Possession of a Federal Security Clearance (HSPD-12 minimum) or eligibility to obtain one
Ability to define problems, research, collect data, establish facts, identify root cause, maintain confidentiality, analyze data, and draw valid conclusions/recommendations
Ability to be on-call and respond to emergency situations
Responds to dynamic 24/7 business environment via availability to work odd hours including periodic holidays and weekends throughout the year regarding changing plant conditions and risks.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Grade 1 Maryland Stationary Engineer license or ability to obtain one in a specified time frame
Demonstrate working knowledge of fire-tube boiler operations, combustion processes, feedwater systems, and natural gas combustion hazards.
Prior experience with the operation of centrifugal chillers and HVAC-related equipment
Ability to lift up to 65 pounds
Available to respond as needed in emergency situations
High school Diploma or GED
Mechanical and electrical aptitude, including working with switching up to 480 volts
5-years experience in operating Cleaver Brooks Package Boiler
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
Knowledge of CB Hawk, Schneider Electric, or similar operating systems
Ability to work in a confined space and at various heights
Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Experience
5-years of boiler operating experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Experience in production facilities with a focus on boiler water chemistry and associated systems
Strong knowledge of customer service procedures, principles, interpersonal skills and strong communication
