Work in environments up to 100°F
May be required to maintain certification to operate heavy equipment, including forklifts
Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, motors, and control systems
Maintain and support automation and electrical equipment
Visually assess normal vs. abnormal equipment conditions
Partner closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams
Distinguish color-coded equipment and wiring
Hear and identify audible alarms
Support equipment installations, startups, and upgrades
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime
Requirements

Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
Experience troubleshooting PLC/HMI-based automation systems
Manufacturing or industrial environment experience preferred
Strong working knowledge of:
Required state, city, or county licenses (boiler, refrigeration, etc.) as applicable
High School diploma or equivalent (required)
3–5 years of plant maintenance or engineering experience, including supervisory exposure
AIB Engineering Certificate preferred
Ability to work 2nd Shift (2 PM – 10 PM) reliably
Associate degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology or equivalent hands-on experience
