Assist with the loading, unloading of palleted consignments, Pallet Stacker and counterbalance trucks and other lifting equipment.
To handle all incoming deliveries into the Melsonby depot (checking the integrity of the physical parts against supplier delivery documents).
To accurately pick and prepare parts required for Sales Order projects.
We have a vacancy for a Junior Stores Assistant - to be based at our Melsonby location. As the Junior Stores Assistant - you will take responsibility for all stock movements, stock levels, while also completing sales orders, dispatching consignments and controlling the Warehouse storage.
Allocating picked stock to correct projects in SAP to ensure project costs are correctly allocated.

The post holder must respect the confidentiality of data stored electronically and by other means in line with the Data Protection Act.
Good communication skills, ability to communicate to colleagues and other teams - clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Must be able to adapt to changing priorities, be multi- tasking and react effectively under pressure.
Ability to work on their own initiative with minimal day-to- day supervision.
Fork Truck licence is desirable not required.
